Scott Garduno, FSA, MAAA

Scott has worked in the actuarial field for over 20 years, including 17 years with Taylor-Walker Consulting, LLC., prior to its acquisition by ER on January 1, 2024.  He has extensive experience assisting regulators with financial examinations and financial analysis of health, life and property and casualty insurers.  His work also includes other regulatory services such as evaluating reinsurance transactions, rate filing analyses and reviewing Form A and Form D filings.  Scott has also conducted feasibility, reserve and funding analyses for insurance entities and self-insured groups.

Scott’s other actuarial experience includes 3 years with the actuarial consulting firm Milliman, Inc.

Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Statistical Science from Brigham Young University and has also completed post-graduate work at the University of Utah. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Member of the Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). Scott lives and works in South Jordan, Utah.
