Stephanie has over 24 years of insurance regulatory experience, which began as an insurance company licensing specialist with the Pennsylvania Insurance Department. After  garnering  a solid knowledge and understanding of insurance company laws and regulations, and financial analysis tools, she transitioned to insurance company financial examinations, where she has spent the last 17 years expanding her knowledge and expertise. 

Stephanie is proficient in conducting financial examinations under the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) risk-focused examination process and has served as Participating Examiner, Examiner-in-Charge (EIC), or Supervisor/Manager on numerous examinations. Her experience includes managing the entire examination life cycle and providing advanced technical assistance and policy guidance to EICs and examination staff. Her examination experience includes Property and Casualty and Life and Health insurers and includes serving in roles as lead state and exam facilitator, and as participating state for coordinated group examinations. 

Stephanie has additional experience with the financial analysis function through performing supervisory reviews of analysis’ work products, including annual and quarterly analyses, and holding company system analyses; licensing and financial examination of continuing care retirement communities; and staff development by assessing training needs and developing and conducting training.

Stephanie received her M.B.A. degree and B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting degree from Kutztown University and is a Certified Financial Examiner (CFE).

Stephanie resides in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Society of Financial Examiners.
